At Journeys Doula, I provide compassionate support for both childbirth and the end-of-life.

As a  skilled birth doula provider, I offer childbirth education ,non- medical labor support, and perinatal services.  All mothers and fathers need emotional support during labor and as a doula I am present to help you remain calm, centered and focused on your birth goals.  I am also a certified lactation counselor and am able to support you in your breastfeeding journey if needed.

In my death doula role, I also provide non-medical holistic support to people nearing the end of their earthly lives and to their families before, during and after death.  My goal in this role is to provide emotional well-being, practical guidance and a peaceful environment.  My services can include death planning, respite care, presence during the dying process and facilitation of a home funeral if desired.

Although death and birth are usually many years apart, I believe that supporting them requires very similar skills and a compassionate loving approach.  Please reach out if I can answer any questions about my philosophy around birth, end-of-life and caring support.
